The labs in the Department of Entomology provide valuable research experience to undergraduates. Besides having job opportunities, students may do
volunteer work in the labs, such as through the URAP
Program, or they may pursue scholarships through the Howard
Hughes Medical Institute or the Senior
Summer Scholars Program. Information about internships
available mostly off-campus can be found at the Life
Sciences website or the Environmental
Science and Policy website.
The Department of Entomology sponsors the Cory Scholarship, which provides
up to $1,000 to two undergraduate senior students each semester in recognition
of their accomplishments within the Department. Detailed information
about the Cory Scholarship can be found here.
