BSCI 337 — Biology of Insects
Course Description
An overview of the biology, evolution and diversity of insects and
their relatives. Insect morphology, physiology, behavior and ecology;
the impact of insects on humanity and the management of pest insect
populations; assembly of an insect collection is required. (4 credits;
Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.)
Prerequisite:
- BSCI106
- or PLSC100 and PLSC101
- or permission of department
