Course Description
An advanced course in population and community ecology, plant-insect interactions, and insect biogeography. Emphasis on current entomological literature (3 credits).

Prerequisite:

  • a course in general ecology
  • or permission of department

  • Life Tables and Reproductive Strategies
  • Population Dynamics, Meta-Population Dynamics, and Conservation Ecology

  • Multi-trophic Interactions, Community Structure, Food-Web Dynamics, and Ecosystem Function
  • Behavioral Ecology and the Evolution of Social Behavior
