Research Interests
Since my retirement I have continued to be active on campus. I teach courses on "Insects" and "Beekeeping" for the Department of Entomology. My position as Director of the College of Life Sciences Scholars Program enables me, along with other faculty, to mentor a small college community of outstanding freshmen. This scholars program is a two year honors program which recruits 90 students each year. These scholars share a residence hall, a cluster of science courses, special colloquiums, social events, field trips and access to a broad range of research and health-related internships.
